Pineapple & cinnamon jam

A jam inspired by my favorite Brazilian desert. Pineapple and cinnamon, a combination that we don't see very often and yet absolutely irresistible !

  • 1 kg pineapple, diced (about 1 large pineapple)
  • 200 g sugar (about 1 cup)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 juice lime (or 1/2 lemon)


  • Combine all ingredients in the pan.
  • Bring to a boil and then cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, until the pineapple is cooked through and translucent.
  • You can mix the jam or leave it as is. It will be quite thick because of the fibrous texture of the pineapple.
